Describe your teaching position or role:
I taught computer science, computer literacy, and computer science education from 1985 to 2018. In retirement I continued working with colleagues to develop and offer courses that lead to certification endorsement in 6-12 computer science. I am enamored with "Grading for Equity" and believe it can revolutionize teaching and learning. I am anxious to talk with anyone about teaching and learning CS and teaching and learning in general.
What 's your favorite CS resource? Why?
I have two: Grading for Equity (a book) and http://www.ascd.org/research-a-topic/understanding-by-design-resources.aspx
Why did you join CSTA & CSTA Iowa?
Because they exist. I consider myself a professional and belonging to appropriate professional organizations is expected.
