Google's CS First can now be synced with Google Classroom and students can use their G Suite for Education accounts to sign in. This change requires district Google Admin to turn on the service in the Admin Console by February 16th for continued access and teachers to collect parental consent to use CS First.

As of January 25, you are able to log in to CS First and create a class that has the option to be synced with Google Classroom, and for students to sign in to CS First with their G Suite for Education accounts. The following action is required for this change to take effect and continue:

Google Admin Action: Starting on February 16, 2021, you will no longer be able to access CS First with your G Suite for Education login unless your domain administrator updates the CS First service to 'ON' in the Admin Console’s Additional Services section. They can follow these instructions to do so. Please reach out to your district's Google Admin so you and your students don't lose access to CS First on February 16.

Classroom Teacher Access: Under the Google Workspace agreement, districts are required to get parental consent for students under 18 to use CS First.
