CSTA 2021 Annual Virtual Conference announcements and resources including CSTA Iowa meet up and Collaborative Resource Document
The 2021 Virtual CSTA Conference is almost here! You can still register here until July 8th!
CSTA Iowa will host 2 meet ups for members attending the conference on Wednesday, July 14th from 2:20 - 3:05p CST and Thursday, July 15th from 9:00 - 10:00a CST in Hopin. We hope you'll join us!
We've also created a 2021 Conference Collaborative Resource Document again this year! Last year, over 30 CSTA Iowa members contributed to our 2020 CSTA Conference Collaborative Resource Document! You'll be able to share and access CSTA Iowa member contact information & links to session slidedecks, toolkits, and more organized by a variety of topics including:
- hot fire! (really exciting sessions!)
- equity,
- topics for specific grade bands (Prek-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12),
- adult learners (IHE & PD)
- engagement and social-emotional learning,
- CS + content (ie. CS + Math, Literacy, etc.),
- administrators & leaders, and
- odds & ends.
This will be a wonderful resource to share with other CS educators looking for inspiration and strategies to teach CS!
