Participants will explore Grant Wood AEA's Physical Computing Toolbox (https://bit.ly/PCToolboxGWAEA) to get hands-on experience with a variety of physical computing devices and robots appropriate for PreK-12 students. Devices and robots range from screen free learning for pre readers to text-based object-oriented coding for HS students pursuing post-secondary CS opportunities. Following exploration, participants will work in small groups to plan for using a physical computing device/robot in their classroom Fall 2022. Collaborative planning will include device access/purchase, maintenance, lesson planning, and resource curation.
